SARS-CoV-2

Viral dynamics of SARS-CoV-2 infection

Scientific knowledge about SARS-CoV-2 infection has advanced at a remarkable pace over the last two years. Both the virus itself and the arsenal of available preventions and treatments are continuously evolving, changing the questions that need to be answered to inform clinical management and public health policy. Together with the Li, Siedner, and Lemieux groups, we are part of the POSITIVES consortium, longitudinally studying individuals with COVID-19 infection. Current areas of interest include Paxlovid rebound and viral evolution and emergent antimicrobial resistance in immunosuppressed populations.
